Commissions

Every piece is unique, but if you have a map at hand, I would be happy to work on a custom location, city,neighbourhood, or village, which means something special to you.

I would ask you information about the chosen place, and its significance, to guide the process of making the final piece. Because the way I work is quite instinctive, the commission process requires you to trust that I will convey the importance and story of the place you have confided me, so don’t expect something identical to another artwork I have done, but be assured that it will be made with the same dedication that I put towards all my works.

I only take commissions for map embroideries, however it can also be a mix of embroidery on rose petals and map, such as the one below I have done for my niece’s wedding with the village were everything began hidden among the petals.

Chaque pièce est unique, mais si vous avez sur une carte, où se trouve un lieu-dit, un village, une ville ou une région qui vous tient à cœur, je serai ravie de travailler sur le sujet. J’aurai besoin d’en savoir plus sur l’importance du lieu, son histoire et ce qui vous y relie. Ma façon de travailler étant instinctive, ne vous attendez pas à ce que le résultat final soit strictement identique à une pièce existante. Votre appréciation de mon style, et votre confiance dans ma compréhension de votre demande est un élément fondamental à la réalisation d’un travail de commande.

Les commissions sont principalement réalisées sur des cartes, mais elles peuvent être également un mélange de carte et broderie sur pétales, comme l’oeuvre brodée pour le mariage de ma nièce, où le village ou tout a commencé, est caché au milieu des pétales.
